IYENGAR YOGA HOLIDAYS IN THE MALDIVES

The most economical option is to share with other students and if you would like to do this, but are travelling solo, get in touch and we can organise this for you. Getting to know other yogis and making new friendships is a delightful part of the yoga holiday experience and helps to cut costs too. The holiday is split into two separate payments: £350 for the yoga and the remaining amount is paid in US Dollars directly to our Maldives booking partner, Secret Paradise.  Do let me know if you would like help with this - I can assist in organising the transfer. To secure your place you need to send me a non-refundable deposit of £200. This can be paid via bank transfer or cheque. Please  DO NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHT UNTIL WE HAVE CONFIRMED YOUR PLACE. Once we have our minimum number of participants we will confirm your place and book our flights. There are three different types of room available, descriptions and pics here, but do get in touch if you need help to decide and would like to have a chat about the difference between them.

You are welcome to book your room elsewhere eg. booking.com or use a hotel comparison website such as trivago.com. Sometimes you can pick up a bargain, particularly nearer the time, but please note that their prices will not include airport transfer ($340) and taxes  ($140+). I would also avoid a 'breakfast only' deal. Tempting though they may seem, food at the hotel is expensive if you are not half or full board (about $30 for lunch and $40 for dinner), so you are better off paying for at least half board in advance with your room. Having travelled with Secret Paradise last year, I can highly recommend their service. They were always on hand to answer queries and give guidance. They met us with friendly smiles at Male airport and lent a hand to make sure everyone transferred without a hitch to our local flight, even taking care of the baggage and checking in for us while went to get a much needed cup of tea in a seafront cafe!
